Strawberry Shortcake - cooking recipe
Ingredients
- 
                            2 c. pastry flour
 
1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 stick margarine
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
Preparation
- 
                            Sift together dry ingredients.
 
Crumble in margarine as you would for pie dough.
Moisten with beaten egg to which the milk has been added.
If too dry, add a little more milk.
Press lightly into a cake pan.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for approximately 20 minutes. Serve warm with sliced berries, peaches or any desired fruit and milk.
