Squash Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. cooked squash, strained and mashed
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 1/2 c. milk
1 Tbsp. butter, melted
3 eggs
unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Preparation

Combine squash, sugar, salt and spices.
Blend in eggs, milk and butter.
Pour into pie shell.
Bake in hot oven (400\u00b0) for 50 minutes, or until knife inserted in filling comes out clean. Cool; serve warm or cool.
