Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add egg and vanilla; beat until fluffy.
Stir in dry ingredients until well blended.
Roll small amount of dough.
Cut with cookie cutters.
Bake on greased cookie sheet in 350\u00b0 oven 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes great stars, bells and Christmas trees.
