Welsh Rarebit - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. dry mustard
dash of cayenne pepper
2 c. milk
1 tsp. Worcestershire
2 (4 oz.) pkg. Cheddar
toasted white or wheat bread
Preparation

About 20 minutes before serving, cook carrots and peas as label directs, but add celery; drain.
Meanwhile, in medium saucepan over low heat, melt butter; stir in flour until smooth, then stir in next 5 ingredients.
Cook mixture, stirring constantly until thickened.
Add cheese and cook, stirring just until cheese is melted and blended.
Serve hot cheese mixture over toast.
