Mrs. A.L. Cook'S Uncooked Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 1/2 lb. firm ripe tomatoes
    2 c. onions, chopped
    3 large red peppers
    3 large green peppers
    1 pt. vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salt
    2 tsp. celery seed
    2 tsp. white mustard seed
Preparation
    Boil tomatoes, chop fine.
    Peel onions and chop fine.
    Remove pepper seed, chop fine.
    Mix together and add salt.
    Put in drain bag for 24 hours.
    Mix sugar with vinegar until dissolved.
    Add celery and mustard seed.
    Mix with tomato pulp thoroughly.
    Put in sterilized jars and seal.
    Makes about 3 pints.
