Raisin Molasses Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 Tbsp. butter
1/3 c. sugar
1 slightly beaten egg
2/3 c. dark molasses
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. cloves
1/8 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. raisins
1 c. walnuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Melt the butter.
When cooled slightly, stir in sugar, slightly beaten egg, molasses and vanilla.
Sift together the flour, salt, baking soda, cloves, ginger and cinnamon.
Add raisins and walnuts to this mixture.
Combine all ingredients until well blended.
Pour into a 10 1/2 x 15 1/2-inch cookie sheet and bake about 12 minutes.
Cut into bars when cool and dust with sugar and cinnamon.
