Jim'S Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. flour
2 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. soft shortening
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
3 Tbsp. cocoa
2 1/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 1/4 c. applesauce
1 to 1 1/2 c. raisins (optional)

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together (about 2 minutes).
Put into greased and floured Bundt pan.
Cook 60 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven. Frost with vanilla cream frosting or cream cheese frosting. (Freezes well, too.)
