Hot Chicken Sandwich - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices day old white bread
    2 c. diced, cooked chicken
    1/4 c. diced celery
    1/4 c. diced onion
    1/4 c. diced green pepper
    1/4 c. mayonnaise
    dash of salt and pepper
    2 c. milk
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
Preparation
    Place 4 slices bread on a single layer in a shallow 9 x 9-inch greased dish.
    Combine all ingredients except eggs, soup, and milk.
    Spread over bread and top with remaining bread.
    Combine eggs and 1 1/2 cups milk and pour over bread.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
    Next day, combine soup and 1/2 cup milk and pour over bread.
    Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0.
