Banana Split Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. crushed graham crackers
1 stick margarine, melted
1 (16 oz.) box powdered sugar
1 stick margarine, at room temperature
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
4 or 5 large bananas
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
12 oz. whipped topping
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
10 oz. red cherries
Preparation

Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted margarine.
Line a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with this mixture, pressing firmly into pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Mix powdered sugar, cream cheese, vanilla and softened margarine.
Beat 15 minutes at medium speed on electric mixer.
Spread on top of crumb pastry.
Slice bananas over top.
Spread pineapple over bananas.
Top with whipped topping, pecans and cherries.
Chill several hours before cutting into squares.
Keep covered in refrigerator.
Serves 20.
