Japanese Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
3 1/2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cloves
3/4 c. chopped raisins
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well. Sift flour and baking powder.
Add to butter, milk and vanilla. Roll raisins in remaining flour.
Divide batter in half.
Add raisins and spices to two layers and leave two layers plain.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
