Ingredients

6 slices bacon
2 Tbsp. chopped or minced onion
2 Tbsp. flour
4 pkg. frozen peas, cooked
2 c. evaporated milk
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
2 Tbsp. butter
salt and pepper
Preparation

Fry bacon; remove and drain grease.
Chop into small pieces. Fry onion until yellow; remove.
Add mushrooms (if fresh mushrooms, saute).
Make a cream sauce with butter, flour and evaporated milk.
When thick, add chopped bacon, onion, mushrooms and peas.
