Baked Cheddar Tomatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 tomatoes, cored and halved
3/4 c. bread crumbs (fresh)
1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
salt and pepper to taste
sugar to taste
butter (clarified, as needed)
Preparation

Place tomatoes on greased baking sheet and sprinkle salt, pepper and sugar over each half.
Combine bread crumbs and cheese; place equal amounts on each tomato half.
Drizzle each tomato with butter and bake in oven at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes, until cheese melts.
Remove from oven and serve.
Serves 6.
