Skillet Beef And Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sirloin steak, thinly sliced
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 tsp. thyme, crushed
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1/2 c. dry red wine
    1 (14 oz.) can Del Monte original style stewed tomatoes (no salt added)
    1 (17 oz.) can Del Monte whole kernel golden sweet corn (no salt added), drained
    1 c. cooked rice
Preparation
    In skillet, brown meat, onion and thyme in oil. Season with pepper, if desired.
    Stir in wine.
    Bring to a boil.
    Simmer, uncovered, over medium heat, about 7 minutes or until liquid is gone. Add tomatoes. Reduce heat.
    Cover and cook 15 minutes or until meat is tender. Uncover and cook 5 minutes more. Garnish with sliced green onions, if desired.
    Makes 4 servings. Contains 305 calories.
