Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. active dry yeast
2 or 3 Tbsp. warm milk
5 c. all-purpose flour
3 to 5 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 c. shortening
2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and soda.
Cut in shortening.
Stir in yeast mixture and buttermilk.
Roll out on floured board.
Cut with biscuit cutter and brush top with melted butter.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 20 minutes.
You must allow biscuits to rise before baking.
