Eggnog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 eggs, beaten
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. nutmeg
    2 tsp. vanilla
    4 c. sugar
    1 gal. milk
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Cook
    over
    medium
    heat in a double boiler.
    Stir constantly to\tkeep
    from
    lumping.
    Gradually
    add beaten eggs. Stir\tin nutmeg, vanilla and salt.
    Mix cornstarch in a little milk,
    add to\teggnog.
    Cook
    stirring
    until smooth.\tIf not thick enough, add more cornstarch.
    Remove from heat and cool. Chill and serve.
