Ingredients

1/2 c. white raisins
1 3/4 c. quick oats
8 1/2 oz. can dietetic crushed pineapple
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 scant c. shortening
1 beaten egg
2 Tbsp. artificial sweetener
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Soften white raisins in hot water and drain.
Spread oats on cookie sheet and brown 5 to 8 minutes in oven at 375\u00b0.
Drain can of dietetic crushed pineapple.
Sift together flour, salt, soda, cloves and cinnamon.
Blend shortening with flour mixture . Add beaten egg, sweetener and vanilla.
Add pineapple, raisins, chopped nuts and oat mixture.
Drop by spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet and bake 10 to 15 minutes at 375\u00b0.
