Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    2 (12 oz.) cans tomato paste
    2 (1 1/2 oz. each) envelopes Italian style spaghetti sauce mix with mushrooms
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. oregano leaves
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    1 bay leaf, crumbled
Preparation
    Cook and stir ground beef and onion until meat is brown and onion tender.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Add 1 to 3 cups water to desired consistency.
    Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours, stirring sauce occasionally.
    Serves 8.
