Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. peeled and thinly sliced potatoes
    1 pkg. Lipton savory herb with garlic soup mix
    1 (8 oz.) c. whipped or heavy cream*
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    *Substitution:
    Use 1 can evaporated milk and use no water.
