Apple Nut Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. white sugar
    4 well beaten eggs
    2/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. peeled and chopped apples
    1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Beat eggs until thick. Add sugar and beat for 5 minutes at high speed. Add sifted dry ingredients. Fold in apples and nuts. Grease bottom only of 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 350\u00b0. Cut into squares and serve with whipped cream.
