Butter Pecan Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 1/3 c. chopped pecans
2/3 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 1/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Pour melted butter and pecans in baking dish.
Toast at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one by one, beating well after each addition.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
Stir in vanilla and 1 cup toasted pecans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
