Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    2 c. raw peanuts
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. soda
Preparation
    Boil until soft ball stage (238\u00b0) all ingredients except peanuts, vanilla and soda, then add raw peanuts.
    Cook until golden brown (310\u00b0).
    Remove from heat; add vanilla and soda. Stir well and pour quickly onto 2 buttered, warm cookie sheets. When cooled, break into pieces.
