Goulash Mix - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. each cubed beef, pork, veal
2 medium onions, quartered
salt and pepper
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. ketchup or tomato paste
1 tsp. paprika
2 c. water
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. real cooking wine
1 garlic clove (optional)
1 beef bouillon cube (optional)
Preparation

Brown meat thoroughly in your favorite oil or grease.
Add onions.
Continue to stir until onions are glazed or turn yellow. Add spices (next 4 ingredients) to taste.
Continue stirring and add only 1 cup of water and cooking wine.
Simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours and thicken gravy before serving with cornstarch and remaining 1 cup of water.
