Maruya - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/2 c. Carnation evaporated milk
1 tsp. melted fat or vegetable lard
Saba bananas, sliced lengthwise
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients into a bowl.
Set aside.
Mix eggs, Carnation evaporated milk and oil.
Add to dry ingredients.
Beat until smooth.
Dip Saba in batter and deep-fat fry.
Drain on absorbent paper.
Roll in sugar.
