Fresh Pear Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. pears, pared, cored and chopped
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. chopped nuts
    3 c. sifted flour
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2/3 c. cooking oil
Preparation
    Combine pears and sugar; let stand 1 hour.
    Sift together flour, salt, soda, nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves.
    Add pears to sifted mixture, stirring just until blended.
    Add eggs, oil and nuts.
    Pour into greased and floured Bundt or 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
    Remove from oven; cool 10 minutes.
    Remove from pan; finish cooling on wire rack.
