Chocolate Zucchini Cake - cooking recipe

1/2 c. soft margarine
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. unsifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. finely shredded zucchini
1 c. nuts (if desired)
1/2 c. cooking oil
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
4 tsp. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/4 c. chocolate chips
Preparation

Cream the margarine, oil and sugar.
Add eggs, vanilla and buttermilk; stir well.
Mix all dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.
Beat well.
Stir in zucchini and nuts.
Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 12 x 2-inch pan.
Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes.
