Egg Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 tsp. butter
    1 c. sugar
    5 whole eggs, beaten
    1 2/3 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. corn meal
Preparation
    Cream together.
    Place\tin
    an 8 or 9-inch pie pan with uncooked crust.
    Grate nutmeg on top of mixture.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 5 minutes, then reduce heat to 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
