Stuffed Green Peppers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 green peppers
1 lb. ground beef
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. uncooked instant rice
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 c. ketchup or spaghetti sauce
Preparation

Cut green peppers in half, lengthwise.
Remove seeds; set aside.
Mix beef, tomato sauce, rice, egg, oregano, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
Spoon into pepper halves.
Place on roasting rack.
Cover loosely with waxed paper.
Microwave at High (100%) until green peppers are tender, 12 to 16 minutes.
Top each with ketchup or spaghetti sauce during last 2 minutes.
