Boston Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. water
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
2 c. milk
1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Beat 3 eggs lightly with 1 cup sugar.
Add water, 1 1/2 cups flour, baking powder and vanilla and bake in quick oven until brown.
Split open to make 2 layers and fill with a mixture of 2 eggs, 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup flour and milk.
Cook all together over slow heat, stirring constantly, in double boiler until thickened. Add butter.
Cool before spreading.
Bananas, coconut or crushed pineapple may be added to filling.
