Chess Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. lemon flavoring
    1/4 c. butter
    1 Tbsp. meal
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Cream butter with sugar and add well beaten yolks.
    Mix meal with milk and add to eggs.
    Add flavoring; stir until smooth and add whites, well beaten.
    Pour into pastry shell and bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 until custard sets and crust is slightly browned.
