Jew Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. brown sugar
    4 eggs
    2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix brown sugar and eggs and cook in double boiler for 20 minutes.
    Cool.
    Stir in dry ingredients and vanilla.
    Spread in two small well-greased pans.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    When cool, cut into squares.
