Date Logs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. flour, sifted
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. dates, pitted and chopped
1 c. walnuts, chopped
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Sift together the dry ingredients.
Stir in dates, walnuts and eggs.
Pour into greased 9-inch square pan to bake in a slow 325\u00b0 oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
Cool and cut into 48 logs.
Roll in confectioners sugar.
Dainty and delicious with tea or coffee.
