Cherry Blossom Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can sour cherries
    3/4 c. oatmeal
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. brown sugar, packed firm
    1/2 c. shortening
    red cake coloring
Preparation
    Pour cherries and juice plus coloring in 9 x 9-inch baking pan. Mix remaining ingredients and press onto cherries.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes in preheated oven.
    Serve with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
