Mother'S Pumpkin Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. pumpkin
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 scant tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. raisins (optional)
1 c. nuts (optional)

Preparation

Cream ingredients in order given.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 12 minutes.
Yields 3 to 4 dozen.
