Easy Beef Stew With Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. oil
1 lb. boneless beef chunks, cut into thin strips
1 large onion, coarsely chopped
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1 (4 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms, drained
1 c. beef broth
1 c. frozen sliced carrots, thawed
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 c. Minute rice (uncooked)
Preparation

Heat oil in large skillet.
Add meat and onion; cook and stir until meat is browned.
Sift flour, salt and pepper.
Stir in tomatoes, mushrooms, broth, carrots and garlic powder.
Bring to boil.
Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 10 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare rice as directed on package.
Serve stew over rice.
Makes 4 servings.
