Taco Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 small onion
    1/2 can green chilies, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
    1 pkg. Ranch dressing mix
    1 (15 oz.) can hominy (corn)
    1 can kidney beans
    1 can pinto beans
    3 (14 1/2 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes, blended and undrained
    1 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Brown ground beef, onion and chilies in a large Dutch oven on medium-high heat.
    Stir in remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
    Simmer on low heat for 30 minutes.
    Makes 10 servings.
