Sugared Pecans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. shelled pecans
    2 c. granulated sugar
    2/3 c. water
    grated rind of 1 orange
Preparation
    Boil water and sugar until it becomes a syrup and can spin a thread.
    Cook a few minutes longer or until mixture will form a soft ball in cold water.
    Remove from heat; add grated rind and stir until candy coats the nuts.
    Pour onto a marble surface or onto wax paper.
