German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. potatoes
    1/2 lb. bacon
    2 Tbsp. flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. water
    1 onion
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Fry diced bacon; pour off most of the fat.
    Add diced onion, then flour.
    Mix sugar, vinegar and water in bowl and add to bacon pan.
    Bring to a boil.
    Have this on sliced potatoes for at least 1 hour before serving.
    Serves 10 to 15 people.
