No Peekie Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. boneless beef stew meat, cut in 1 1/2-inch cubes
    10 3/4 oz. condensed cream of mushroom or chicken soup
    1 pkg. onion soup mix (Lipton)
    1 1/2 c. water
    6 to 8 oz. wide noodles
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In a 3-quart casserole, combine meat, both soups, and water.
    Mix well.
    Cover and bake for 3 hours.
    I sometimes put this mixture in the slow cooker for 6 hours.
