Cracker Jacks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. Karo syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 to 3 quarts popped corn
Preparation
    Cook butter, brown sugar, syrup and salt in microwave for 4 minutes.
    After you've stirred well, add baking soda and vanilla. Mix well and pour immediately over popcorn in a large paper bag. Shake this, then cook in microwave for 1 minute and 35 seconds. Shake again; cook another 1 minute and 20 seconds.
    Shake, pour into cake pan to cool and then break apart.
