Buffet Lasagne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground chuck
    2 medium onions, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. oregano
    1 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    4 (8 oz.) cans tomato paste
    1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    4 c. hot boiling water
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagne noodles
    2 lb. Ricotta cheese or cottage cheese
    1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    Brown beef with onion and garlic in a large skillet; pour off excess fat.
    Add salt, oregano, basil, pepper, tomato paste and water.
    Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes; meanwhile, cook noodles according to package directions.
    Drain.
