White Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter (1/2 oleo and 1/2 Crisco)
8 eggs
4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. fresh grated coconut (3 pkg. frozen)
1 lb. candied pineapple
1 lb. candied cherries
1 qt. pecans
1 c. milk
1/2 lb. light citron
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
Then add flour, baking powder and milk.
Then add fruit that has been chopped up and dredged with a little extra flour.
Add nuts, coconut, flavoring and lemon juice.
Put in greased pans lined with greased paper and bake at 300\u00b0 for about 3 hours or until done.
Size of pan will govern time.
