Kraut And Beer Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. shortening
3 eggs
1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. beer or water
1/2 to 3/4 c. sauerkraut, chopped rinsed and drained
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening.
Add eggs, vanilla, salt and cocoa.
Sift flour, baking soda and baking powder.
Add sifted ingredients and beer to creamed mixture.
Fold in sauerkraut. Bake in greased and floured pan for 35 to 40 minutes at 375\u00b0. Frost with cream cheese frosting.
