Green Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. beef chuck
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 clove garlic
1 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 c. salad oil
1 c. green onions, thinly sliced
1 c. green or red peppers, cut 1-inch thick
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
2 tomatoes (wedge)
Preparation

Cut beef into 1/8-inch thick strips.
Combine soy sauce, garlic and ginger.
Add beef; toss and set aside.
Heat oil in large pan or wok.
Add beef and cook over high heat until browned. Cover and simmer 30 to 40 minutes over low heat.
Turn heat up; add vegetables and cook 10 minutes.
Mix cornstarch with water. Add to pan; stir and cook until thickened.
Add tomatoes and heat through.
Serve over noodles.
