Chewy Cake Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 (1 lb.) box light brown sugar
2 c. self-rising flour
1 stick margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. flaked or shredded coconut

Preparation

Cream sugar and margarine.
Add all other ingredients and pour into a lightly greased 9 x 13-inch dish or pan.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
Cut into squares.
