Clam Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans minced clams
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1 c. finely diced celery
2 generous c. finely diced potatoes
3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. flour
1 qt. dairy half and half
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. white wine (optional)
Preparation

Drain juice from clams and add to vegetables in small saucepan.
Add enough water to barely cover vegetables.
Simmer, covered, until just tender.
