Batter Buns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 stick or 1/4 c. margarine
    1/2 c. warm water
    2 pkg. yeast
    1 egg
    3 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Scald milk.
    Stir in sugar, salt and margarine.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Measure warm water into a large bowl.
    Sprinkle yeast until dissolved.
    Add milk, egg and 2 cups flour.
    Beat with mixer to a soft dough.
    Add rest of flour.
    Stir with wooden spoon. Cover; let rise until double, about 30 minutes.
    Punch down and shape into rolls; let rise.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
