Laura'S Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. water
    1 stick cinnamon
    1 c. rice
    1 c. sugar (reserve 2 Tbsp. to use with egg white)
    1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1/2 c. raisins
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Bring to a boil the water with the cinnamon stick.
    Add rice (while stirring).
    When it comes to a boiling point again, cover, turn fire low and simmer about 20 minutes or until rice is done.
    Add sugar and cook, uncovered, a minute longer.
    Add evaporated milk and raisins; continue to cook until thick, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking to bottom of pan.
