Geraldine'S Cole Slaw With Cooked Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage, shredded
    1 large onion, sliced thin
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. dry mustard
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. oil
Preparation
    Make alternate layers of onion and cabbage in a bowl. Sprinkle with scant 3/4 cup sugar or less.
