Carrot Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 large carrots, scraped
    salt to taste
    sugar to taste
    3 Tbsp. self-rising flour
    cooking oil
Preparation
    Scrape the carrots, cut into small pieces and cover with hot water.
    Add salt to taste and sugar.
    Cook until done, drain and mash.
    Add self-rising flour.
    Stir sifted flour into the mashed carrots.
    Make round flat patties of the carrots.
    Fry in hot cooking oil.
