Coconut Pecan Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1 1/3 c. coconut
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream together egg yolks and sugar; add butter and milk.
    Cook and stir over medium heat until thick, about 12 minutes.
    Take off heat and add 1 1/3 cups coconut and 1 cup chopped pecans.
    Beat until thick enough to spread.
    Makes 2 1/2 cups.
    Good on German Chocolate Cake.
